Being a Cancer that lives in Hawaii, of course summer is my favorite season 🙂 Let me show you a few trends that I am absolutely loving at the moment.
I’ve been starting to add more color to my closet. If you’re planning on getting back that hot girl summer tan, then greens and blues are colors that you’ll definitely want to wear. They look so good on tan skin and they’ll keep your fits looking cool, fresh, and still classy.
Another summer trend right now is cute and funky jewelry/accessories. Beaded necklaces with fresh water pearls and beaded rings or those chunky acrylic resin rings are definitely a must have. We all know sunscreen is one of the most important daily essentials but who actually loves incorporating it into their daily skin routine? Not me. For the longest time I absolutely refused to wear it everyday because even the expensive ones i would buy from well known brands would leave my pores feeling clogged and it did not feel seamlessly comfortable on my skin if you know what I mean. I usually don’t even like wearing foundation or any type of that kind of make up because I just hate having that feeling that there’s something on my face. BUT, let me put you on the perfect product that has conquered my hatred of wearing sunscreen. The PCAskin “sheer tint broad spectrum” is the best sunscreen I have ever put on my face. It is water resistant and SPF 45. Also, it’s a skin tint so it is the ultimate substitute for foundation for me. Two birds, one stone? F*ck yes. Now granted, it is on the pricey side being about $50 for a tube of 1.7 fl oz. But trust me, this has become a daily necessity and especially in the summer when it’s 90 degrees and humid af, we need something thats easy and weightless to reapply. Flawless skin, unclogged pores, and protection from sun rays is definitely a crucial part of hot girl summer.
